Heavy Duty Mechanic

E & K Kostenchuk LTD. a COR-certified company operates out of Neepawa servicing surrounding areas of Manitoba.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Maintain a strong work ethic, stay motivated, think critically to solve problems, and adapt to changing work environments while working independently or as part of a team.

  • Complete Site Hazard Assessments, Circle Checks, and all other safety forms.

  • Able to work outdoors in a physically active environment and perform repetitive tasks without restrictions.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills

  • Minimum Class 5 driver’s license

  • High school graduate

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience; Red Seal preferred

  • Safety ticket considered an asset

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Working knowledge of computers and diagnostic equipment

  • Ability to diagnose and complete repairs on heavy equipment, trucks, and trailers
